Luis Sa Silva verdedigt komend seizoen de kleuren van Racing for Angola, een nieuw team in de Formule 3 Euroseries in samenwerking met Prema Powerteam. De 21-jarige Sa Silva reed in 2010 al wat races in de Euroseries en was vorig jaar actief in de Formula Pilota China.

Sa Silva: Na racen in de Formula Pilota China in Azië voelde ik dat ik terug moest naar Europa om deel te nemen aan de meest competitieve Formule 3-tak en te groeien als coureur. Ik heb niet veel ervaring in deze klasse, ik heb pas drie evenementen achter mijn naam staan, maar ik zit bij het juiste team om me te meten met sommige van de meest getalenteerde jonge coureurs ter wereld. Het wordt een zwaar seizoen, maar ik verwacht elke race te verbeteren en resultaten te behalen die mijn land trots maken.
