Van de Laar met Van Amersfoort Racing in Europees kampioenschap

Dennis van de Laar is komend seizoen actief in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. De 19-jarige Nederlander heeft een contract getekend bij Van Amersfoort Racing. Het Europese Formule 3-seizoen telt tien evenementen en bezoekt op 28 september het circuit van Zandvoort.

Van de Laar kan zich dus opmaken voor een thuisrace. "Het is een grote uitdaging om het tegen de beste Formule 3-coureurs ter wereld op te nemen. Ik pak de handschoen op en heb vertrouwen in goede resultaten. Vorig jaar heb ik veel geleerd en hopelijk kan ik die kennis toepassen in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3. Laat het seizoen maar beginnen!"

Teameigenaar Frits van Amersfoort: "We kijken uit naar deze nieuwe jaargang. Deelnemen aan het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap is de uitdaging waar mijn team na vele jaren in de ATS Formule 3 Cup aan toe was. De grid is substantieel en competitief, dus het wordt een hele opgave. Na gastoptredens in de Euroseries vorig jaar weten we in elk geval dat we competitief kunnen zijn."
