Raffaelo Marciello bouwt gigantische voorsprong op

Op Raffaelo Marciello staat voorlopig geen maat in het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap. De in Zürich geboren 18-jarige Italiaan won op de Hockenheimring twee van de drie races. Concurrent Felix Rosenqvist deed in de derde wedstrijd wat terug, maar verloor andermaal terrein.

Marciello scoorde in Duitsland in totaal 65 punten, Rosenqvist zet daar 30 punten tegenover. Het verschil tussen de twee bedraagt nu 71,5 punten. Felix Serralles deed op de Hockenheimring goede zaken met twee tweede plaatsen en klom naar de vierde plek in de tussenstand.

Dennis van de Laar hield acht punten over aan zijn weekend in Duitsland. De 19-jarige Nederlander legde in race 2 beslag op een zesde positie. Hij heeft nu een totaal van 11 punten, voorlopig goed voor een vijftiende plaats in het Europees Formule 3-kampioenschap.
