Hulkenberg en Schlegelmilch zegevieren op de Nurburgring

Nico Hulkenberg en Harald Schlegelmilch hebben allebei een race gewonnen op de Nürburgring. Hulkenberg reed in race 1 van start tot finish aan de leiding en bleef Sebastien Buemi en Edoardo Piscopo voor. In race 2 tekende de Let Schlegelmilch voor zijn allereerste zege, achter hem eindigden Romain Grosjean en Buemi als tweede en derde.

De Nederlanders speelden op het Duitse circuit een bijrol. Yelmer Buurman hield na een vijftiende plek in de eerste race de schade nog beperkt in de tweede race. De jonge coureur van Manor Motorsport werd daarin zesde en pakte zodoende nog een puntje. Renger van der Zande eindigde met een negentiende en achtste plek twee keer buiten de punten.
