Lynn als reservecoureur naar DS Virgin Racing

Alex Lynn heeft zich als ontwikkelings- en reservecoureur verbonden aan het Formule E-team van DS Virgin Racing. De Brit tekende een meerjarig contract bij de renstal. Lynn was de voorbije seizoenen actief in de GP2 en combineerde dat met werkzaamheden voor Williams.

De 23-jarige Lynn verbreedt nu zijn horizon. "DS Virgin Racing is het coolste team uit de Formule E. Ze hebben een passie voor racen en gaan voluit voor de winst. Op gebied van marketing zetten ze de toon en de auto ziet er prachtig uit. Voor een coureur zijn die facetten ook belangrijk, maar het speelt natuurlijk ook mee dat ze regelmatig wedstrijden winnen."

"De Formule E is een van de meest competitieve klasses ter wereld en het niveau van de coureurs ligt ontzettend hoog. Als rijder wil ik de competitie aangaan met sterke tegenstanders, daarom heb ik me ook ingespannen om de Formule E te betreden. DS Virgin Racing was altijd mijn eerste keus. Ik ben dan ook dolblij met deze meerjarige verbintenis."
