E-Prix Mexico: Hoe laat komen De Vries en Frijns in actie?

Het tiende Formule E-seizoen met Nyck de Vries en Robin Frijns trapt zaterdagavond 21:03 Nederlandse tijd af met de E-Prix in Mexico. Er doen in totaal elf renstallen mee in dit elektrische kampioenschap. De Brit Jake Dennis, die in 2023 nog vrije trainingen reed voor Red Bull, is de titelverdediger.

Vrijdagavond Nederlandse tijd was al de eerste vrije training gereden. De kwalificatie is zaterdagmiddag 16:40 Nederlandse tijd. De resr van het programma staat hieronder.

Het parcours is op het Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit, de locatie die de Formule 1 ook bezoekt. De FE-coureurs rijden niet dezelfde lay-out zoals in de koningsklasse. De baan is flink ingekort met een korter rechter stuk bij start en finish, plus het stadiongedeelte is anders ingericht.

De eerste editie was in 2016. Lucas di Grassi won er in 2023 en heeft met twee zeges in Mexico-Stad de meeste overwinningen op zijn naam. De Vries en Frijns hebben nog nooit gewonnen en zijn nooit op het podium geëindigd. In 2021 was er in Mexico geen E-Prix vanwege corona.
