Video: Levensgevaarlijke gele-vlag-situatie op Oulton Park

Het 'Britse' GB3 -kampioenschap had de aftrap van 2023-seizoen op het vloeiende Oulton Park. Echter, tijdens een gele-vlag-situatie ging het bijna gruwelijk mis. Een aantal gestrande auto's stonden naast de baan. Coureurs en stewards waren nog niet achter de vangrail en het veld kwam aanstormen met een redelijke snelheid - ondanks gezwaai van gele vlaggen. Een bolide rolde opeens achteruit met coureurs in aantocht. Tenauwernood ontweken deze rijders deze auto en liep alles met een sisser af.

Zie niks gevaarlijks? Er word al met geel gezwaaid bij het reclame bord dat over de weg hangt en alsnog bedenkt er eentje Ajoh ik kan wel eens kijken of ik kan inhalen.     Alle gassie's die niet van hun gas gingen een paar strafpunten .
    Er word toch heel duidelijk met dubbel geel gezwaaid .

    Meestal gaan dat soort dingen wel goed hoor. Die coureurs zien echt wel of ze nog een gaatje hebben.

    Ik zie iig niets 'levensgevaarlijks'.... wel onhandig allemaal.

      Idd wordt erg opgeblazen maar feit is dat in de lagere klasse`s het geld er gewoon simpelweg niet is zoals in een F1.

      Zie dagelijks meer gevaarlijke momenten als k mijn raam uitkijk iig.

      @red slow volgens mij moet ergens een eerste gele vlag hangen, als dat de eerste is is t niet verwonderlijk dat ze daar zo aankomen en als iedereen wat harder in de ankers gaat dan is het nog logischer dat hij juist uitwijkt om niet erger te veroorzaken.

      Maarja kapiteins aan de kade weten altijd alles beter.
