Nederlanders net in de top tien

Richard Verschoor en Jarno Opmeer zijn in de eerste training van de Formule Renault 2.0 Eurocup op het circuit van Silverstone in de top tien geëindigd, zij het nipt. Verschoor was met een 2:16.731 de snellere van de twee Nederlanders en legde beslag op de negende plaats.

Jarno Opmeer liet een 2:16.860 noteren, goed voor een tiende positie. Vooraan was Max Defourny de snelste. De Belg klokte een 2:14.542. Will Palmer en Robert Schwartzman doken net als Defourny onder de 2:15. Henrique Chaves en Sacha Fenestraz completeerden de top vijf.
