Verschoor elfde op de Red Bull Ring

Richard Verschoor heeft in de tweede vrije training voor het Formule Renault 2.0 Eurocup-weekend op de Red Bull Ring de elfde tijd gerealiseerd. Met een 1:29.503 was hij twee tienden sneller dan vanochtend en gaf hij dik zeven tienden toe op de snelste man.

In de eerste vrije training was de jonge Nederlander ook als elfde geëindigd. In eerste instantie leek P14 ten deel te vallen aan Verschoor, maar diverse coureurs moesten hun snelste tijd inleveren omdat ze die gezet hadden tijdens een gele vlag-situatie.

Net als vanochtend was Sacha Fenestraz de snelste coureur, met een 1:28.774. Kampioenschapsleider Robert Shwartzman legde beslag op de achtste plaats. Jarno Opmeer moest na een 1:29.826 genoegen nemen met de zeventiende plek.
