Ocean stelt Turvey en Caldarelli aan als coureurs Asia Series

Oliver Turvey zal voor de GP2 Asia Series de overstap maken naar Ocean Racing Technology. De 23-jarige Brit komt over van iSport waar hij in 2010 een goede indruk achter liet. Turvey zal de teamgenoot worden van voormalig Italiaans Formule 3-coureur Andrea Caldarelli.

Voor Turvey zal het zijn eerste jaar worden waarin hij het zonder de steun van Racing Steps Foundation moet doen. Vorig jaar eindigde hij voor iSport nog als zesde in de Main Series en reed één Asia-race. "Ik voel me er helemaal klaar voor en ga graag de uitdaging aan. Ik race om te winnen en ik denk dat we alles in huis hebben om dat voor elkaar te krijgen", aldus Turvey, die enkele weken geleden nog voor McLaren mocht testen.
