DAMS koppelt Jolyon Palmer aan Stephane Richelmi

Het team van DAMS heeft de line-up voor 2014 al rond. Stephane Richelmi blijft en de Monegask krijgt gezelschap van Jolyon Palmer, die Marcus Ericsson vervangt. Palmer stond afgelopen seizoen onder contract bij Carlin, waarvoor hij twee maal won.

Palmer: "Ik heb maar één doelstelling voor volgend seizoen en dat is de GP2-titel. Ik geloof dat ik daar bij DAMS de meeste kans op maak. Dit is een team dat bewezen heeft om coureurs richting de Formule 1 te leiden. Ik ga keihard werken om in de voetsporen van Romain Grosjean en Davide Valsecchi te treden en uit te groeien tot de derde kampioen namens DAMS in de laatste vier jaar. Dat zou mijn perspectief op een stoeltje in de Formule 1 voor 2015 aanzienlijk vergroten."
