Barcelona dag 1: Yelmer Buurman tweede

Trust Team Arden-coureur Yelmer Buurman toont zich een snelle leerling in de GP2. Vorige week verkeerde hij de eerste testdag op Paul Ricard nog in de achterhoede, op dag twee reed hij al in de middenmoot en na de eerste testdag van deze week op het circuit van Barcelona staat de Nederlander tweede. Alleen Kamui Kobayashi was sneller.

Ook Ho-Pin tung zat er in Spanje beter bij dan vorige week in Frankrijk. De coureur van Trident Racing reed in de middagsessie de negende tijd, ruim vier tienden sneller dan hij in de ochtend was geweest. De middagsessie was sowieso flink sneller dan de ochtendtraining. In het eerste deel kwamen er slechts twee man onder de 1:28. De snelste tijd van Kobayashi uit de middagsessie was zelfs onder de 1:27, een 1:26.806.

Vandaag wordt er weer getest op het circuit van Barcelona.
