Luca Filippi weg bij ART, Yamamoto terug in GP2

Luca Filippi, testrijder van het Honda Formule 1-team, verlaat per direct het ART-team. Hij was daar dit seizoen teamgenoot van Nico Hulkenberg, maar wist slechts vijf punten te scoren. Het team heeft zijn vertrek vandaag bevestigd, maar wat de verdere toekomstplannen zijn van Filippi is niet bekend gemaakt.

ART moest dus op zoek naar een vervanger. Die heeft het team meteen bekend gemaakt: Sakon Yamamoto. De Japanner is momenteel testrijder bij Renault en was vorig jaar ook al actief in de GP2. Bovendien kwam hij in 2007 enkele races uit voor Spyker F1 als vervanger van Christijan Albers.
