Eduardo Mortara gaat testen voor Trident en Arden

Formule 3 Euroserie vice-kampioen Eduardo Mortara gaat deze week testen voor twee GP2-teams. De Italiaanse Volkswagen-coureur neemt woensdag plaats achter het stuur van een Trident, een dag later is de Arden aan de beurt.

Mortara: "Ik kijk erg uit naar mijn eerste ervaring met een GP2-auto. Ik wil vooral Volkswagen bedanken voor hun toestemming voor deze tests. Op dit moment ben ik mijn mogelijkheden voor 2009 aan het bekijken en wie weet komt enige GP2-ervaring in de toekomst nog van pas."

Een andere Formule 3-coureur die vanaf morgen ook een GP2-auto gaat testen is de Nederlander Carlo van Dam. Na deze week vliegen zowel Van Dam als Mortara naar Macau om deel te nemen aan de Formule 3 Grand Prix van Macau op 16 november aanstaande.
