Cecotto terug op het oude nest bij Trident Racing

Johnny Cecotto verdedigt komend seizoen de eer van Trident Racing in de GP2. De 24-jarige Venezolaan kwam in 2010 al voor die renstal uit in het voorportaal van de Formule 1. Vorig jaar scoorde hij namens Arden 41 punten, waarmee hij als zestiende eindigde in het klassement.

Cecotto: "Ik moet bekennen dat ik niet kan wachten om te beginnen met het werk voor mijn nieuwe team. Na afgelopen seizoen wil ik heel graag weer achter het stuur van een bolide kruipen om een gooi te doen naar meer zeges. Bij Trident Racing heb ik een uitermate goed gevoel en de mensen bij deze renstal zijn zeer capabel. Mijn engineers en monteurs hebben dezelfde honger naar overwinningen als ik heb, dus dat komt mooi overeen!"
