Vandoorne bepaalt het tempo in training in Hongarije

Stoffel Vandoorne heeft de smaak helemaal te pakken. De Belg stond na zijn zege in de eerste race van het seizoen lange tijd droog, maar de afgelopen races reeg hij de podiumplekken aaneen. Hij is het weekend in Hongarije sterk gestart met de snelste tijd in de training.

Vandoorne noteerde een 1:29.479. Felipe Nasr volgt op minder dan een tiende en Stephane Richelmi sloot aan als derde, vlak voor teamgenoot en kampioenschapleider Jolyon Palmer. Zoals wel vaker stond Daniel de Jong er in de oefensessie goed bij, hij nestelde zich op P10. Nu is het zaak om een dergelijke klassering ook eens in de kwalificatie te behalen.
