Nasr krijgt straf na ophouden Coletti

Felipe Nasr zal vandaag niet als tiende beginnen aan de eerste race in Sochi dit weekend, maar zal vanaf de twaalfde startpositie aanvangen. De Braziliaan - die tweede staat in het kampioenschap - krijgt straf nadat hij Stefano Coletti zou hebben opgehouden tijdens de kwalificatie.

Door de straf is het gat naar de leider in het kampioenschap Jolyon Palmer nog groter. De kampioenschapsleider start namelijk vanaf de vierde plaats. Omdat Palmer 41 punten voor Nasr staat in de tussenstand, kan de GP2-coureur dit weekend het kampioenschap grijpen.

Vanaf pole position vertrekt Stoffel Vandoorne. De Belg reed een 1:45:402 in de kwalificatie, precies dezelfde tijd die Arthur Pic reed. De Fransman deed dit alleen later, waardoor Vandoorne als eerste mag vertrekken.
