Andre Negrao verlengt verblijf bij Arden

Andre Negrao verdedigt ook komend seizoen de eer van Arden International in de GP2. De 22-jarige Braziliaan sloot zijn debuutjaar in het voorportaal van de Formule 1 af met 31 punten, goed voor een twaalfde plaats in de eindstand. Voor 2015 is hij gekoppeld aan Norman Nato.

Negrao: "Vorig jaar behaalden we onze doelstelling door punten te scoren in de tweede seizoenshelft. De GP2 is een zeer competitieve en professionele klasse. Ik had een heel goed gevoel bij het hele Arden-team en dat bleek wederzijds, daarom hebben we besloten om samen verder te groeien in 2015. Die continuïteit zal resulteren in mooie resultaten, daar ben ik zeker van. Ik kijk ernaar uit om over een paar weken weer in de auto te springen voor de eerste test."

Andre Negrao's grootste sponsor is zijn vader, Guto Negrao. Die heeft toen zoonlief in de WSR reed Draco Racing gekocht zodat hij daar een stoeltje had.
