King voert tijdenlijst aan na eerste training

Jordan King heeft de eerste training van de GP2 in 2015 afgesloten als snelste. De coureur van Racing Engineering noteerde in Bahrein een tijd van 1:42.441 en daar kon niemand aan tippen. Alexander Rossi eindigde wel in de buurt, maar de Amerikaan kwam één honderste tekort.

GP3-kampioen Alex Lynn completeerde de top drie. De gedoodverfde titelfavoriet Stoffel Vandoorne moest genoegen nemen met P4. De Belg viel in de laatste tien minuten ook nog stil met een technisch probleem. Daniel de Jong kon geen potten breken en legde met een 1:44.517 beslag op de 22ste positie. Sergio Canamasas, teamgenoot van de Nederlander bij MP Motorsport, was meer dan een halve seconde sneller en nestelde zich op de achttiende plek.

De Jong is al jaren een non-talent en rijdt alleen dankzij een rijke papa. Zonde van het geld ! n.b. dit is dus zijn derde jaar in de GP2. Ooit gelijk begonnen in de FR 2.0 pfffff
