Niederhauser voegt zich bij Team Lazarus

Patric Niederhauser maakt dit weekend zijn debuut in de GP2. Hij lost Nathanael Berthon af bij Daiko Team Lazarus. De 23-jarige Zwitser was de voorbije drie seizoenen actief in de GP3 en won vorig jaar twee maal op weg naar een tiende plek in de eindstand.

Niederhauser: "Ik ben dolblij met deze kans om voor Team Lazarus op Monza te debuteren in de GP2. Ik voel me er klaar voor. Het is een enorme uitdaging met veel nieuwe dingen. Ik ben iedereen die dit mede mogelijk heeft gemaakt zeer dankbaar en ik ga alles geven om er het maximale uit te halen."
