Giovinazzi debuteert bij debutant Prema

Prema Racing, een bekende naam in de opstapklasses, debuteert komend seizoen in de GP2. De renstal heeft de eerste coureur voor 2016 bekendgemaakt. Antonio Giovinazzi, runner-up in het Europees kampioenschap Formule 3 in 2015, debuteert bij debutant Prema in de GP2.

"Ik ben verguld om onderdeel uit te maken van Prema, een prestigieus team met een rijke historie in de autosport", begint de Italiaan. "Dit is een geweldige mogelijkheid voor mij, want Prema heeft al zo vaak bewezen dat het de ideale omgeving voor een jonge coureur is. Ik ben vastberaden om deze kans met beide handen aan te grijpen en keihard te werken om de best mogelijke resultaten te behalen. Ik wil Prema, mijn sponsors en mijn management bedanken."
