Kwalificatie GP2 uitgesteld na losse kerbs

De kwalificatie voor de GP2 in Bakoe is na een paar minuten afgebroken en wordt niet meer herstart. De oorzaak is een probleem met de kerbstones in bocht 2. De kerbs daar zouden niet goed vast zitten en dat maakt verder rijden onverantwoord en onmogelijk.

De GP2-kwalificatie is nu uitgesteld tot na de tweede vrije training voor de Formule 1. Dat geeft de wedstrijdleiding de gelegenheid om kerbstones beter te bevestigen. Na de training van de GP2 werd er ook al aan de kerbs in bocht 8 gewerkt en bij de randstenen in bocht 19 zijn eveneens marshals druk aan het werk.
