Sirotkin verschalkt Gasly voor pole position

Sergey Sirotkin start morgen in de hoofdrace van de GP2 op de Hockenheimring vanaf de eerste plaats. De Rus troefde Pierre Gasly af in de strijd om pole position. Met een 1:22.193 was Sirotkin zestien duizendsten sneller dan Gasly.

De tweede startrij is voor twee Italianen, namelijk Raffaele Marciello en Antonio Giovinazzi. MP Motorsport-coureur Oliver Rowland completeerde de top vijf. Teamgenoot Daniel de Jong legde met een 1:23.400 beslag op de zestiende positie.
