Rapax stelt Julian Leal ook voor GP2 Main Series aan

Julian Leal maakt het jaar af bij Rapax. De 20-jarige coureur uit Colombia was in eerste instantie alleen aangetrokken voor de Asia Series. In die verbintenis is nu ook de Main Series betrokken.

Leal: Mijn eerste contact met het team was cruciaal voor mijn beslissing en ik raakte bij de eerste test in november verliefd op de auto. Ik ontdekte dat het een complete en waardevolle racewagen is die geweldig als opstapje richting de Formule 1 kan dienen. Sinds het begin ervaar ik een geweldige relatie met het team en ik weet zeker dat de technische staf mij kan helpen bij mijn groei als coureur.

Fabio Leimer is de teamgenoot van Leal. Rapax veroverde vorig jaar met Pastor Maldonado de titel in de GP2.
