Scuderia Coloni reserveert auto voor Ceccon voor Abu Dhabi

Auto GP-kampioen Kevin Ceccon staat volgende maand in het voorprogramma van de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi weer op de GP2-grid. Scuderia Coloni heeft de 18-jarige Italiaan aangesteld voor het weekend in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten, dat niet meetelt voor een kampioenschap.

Ceccon debuteerde begin dit jaar in de GP2 als vervanger voor de geblesseerde Davide Rigon en behaalde in vier weekenden een elfde plaats als beste klassering. Halverwege de jaargang raakte hij zijn plek kwijt aan Luca Filippi. Ceccon test op 20 en 21 oktober ook voor Coloni in Barcelona.

Teambaas Paolo Coloni: Kevin is met zijn jonge leeftijd en de Auto GP-titel op zak ongetwijfeld een van de meeste interessante Italiaanse talenten. Hij heeft veel potentie. Dat toonde hij bij de test in Jerez en het doel is om die positieve trend voort te zetten.
