Nieuwkomer Lazarus legt Fabrizio Crestani vast voor 2012

Lazarus neemt komend seizoen de plek van Super Nova in de GP2 in en heeft een eerste coureur aangetrokken. Fabrizio Crestani, een 24-jarige Italiaan, waagt de overstap vanuit de AutoGP, waar hij als zesde eindigde in 2011.

Teambaas Tancredi Pagiaro: "Ik ben heel blij om Fabrizio bij ons team te verwelkomen. Ik ken hem zeer goed. In de AutoGP spreidde hij vorig jaar zijn potentie tentoon en ik weet zeker dat hij daar ook in de GP2 toe in staat is."

Crestani: "Veel dank gaat uit naar Tancredi. Hij heeft altijd in mij geloofd en we hebben een sterke band. Ik sta te trappelen om aan het seizoen te beginnen. Racen in de GP2 is een droom die uitkomt. Het wordt zwaar, maar ik ben ongeduldig om te starten met testen en ik wil meteen competitief zijn."
