Scuderia Coloni verlaat GP2 na onenigheid met organisatie

Scuderia Coloni zegt de GP2 na dit seizoen vaarwel. De Italiaanse renstal trekt zich na deze jaargang terug en doet afstand van alle punten die het in 2012 behaalt. Aanleiding is een onoverkomelijk meningsverschil met de organisatie van de GP2.

Scuderia Coloni stelt in een verklaring: "Als resultaat van onenigheid tussen de GP2-organisatie en Coloni Motorsport stappen we uit de GP2. Wij zullen niet deelnemen aan de jaargang 2013. Alle punten die we dit jaar verdienen tellen we niet mee."
