Stefano Coletti tekent bij Team Rapax voor 2013

Stefano Coletti racet volgend jaar vanaf het begin voor Team Rapax. De 23-jarige Monegask verdedigde de laatste races van afgelopen seizoen ook al de eer van de Italiaanse renstal, nadat hij de jaargang was gestart als coureur van Scuderia Coloni. Namens Rapax eindigde hij in vier wedstrijden drie maal in de punten.

Coletti: "Dit is een geweldige mogelijkheid voor mij en ik kijk al uit naar de start van volgend seizoen. De test eind oktober is de ideale manier om de lijn die we in de laatste twee weekenden van het seizoen 2012 hebben ingezet door te trekken. Ik ben sterk verbonden om alles uit deze kans te halen en optimaal te presteren voor dit team. Rapax heeft bewezen een geschikte plek te zijn voor een jonge coureur en ik ben van plan om daar van te profiteren. Ik bedank de teamleiding voor het vertrouwen in me, en dank gaat uit naar mijn familie en sponsors voor hun onophoudelijke steun."
