Arden International legt Johnny Cecotto vast voor 2013

Johnny Cecotto junior verdedigt komend seizoen de eer van Arden International in de GP2. De 23-jarige Venezolaan is al vier jaar actief in het voorportaal van de Formule 1 en in 2012 twee races namens Barwa Addax. Vorig jaar testte hij bij de young drivers-test in Abu Dhabi nog voor Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Cecotto: "Ik ben verguld met deze overeenkomst met Arden International. Het is een van de beste teams in de hedendaagse autosport met een geweldige historie. We hebben kennis met elkaar gemaakt bij een test en meteen was er chemie tussen de engineers, monteurs en mij. Dit was het juiste moment om te tekenen, zodat we voldoende tijd hebben om ons te prepareren op het komende seizoen. Het doel is om het kampioenschap te winnen, ik geloof dat het team en ik daar de potentie voor hebben."
