Michael Ammermuller niet door medische keuring voor Monaco

Michael Ammermuller zal niet aan de start staan van de GP2-race in Monaco van aanstaande zaterdag. De Duitser is niet door de medische keuring heen gekomen. Ammermuller kampt sinds de openingsraces in Bahrein met een polsblessure en werd in Barcelona al vervangen door Mikhail Aleshin. Bij de race in Monaco neemt Formule 3 Euroseries-coureur Sebastian Buemi de plaats van Ammermuller bij ART Grand Prix in.

De pols van Ammermuller zou de veeleisende baan door de straten van Monaco nog niet aankunnen. De Red Bull Racing-coureur was echter wel in staat om afgelopen weekend bij een evenement op Donington Park een demonstratie te geven met een Formule 1-auto.
