Aleshin vervangt Buemi voor seizoensfinale

Mikhail Aleshin rijdt komend weekend op het circuit van Valencia de laatste twee races van het GP2-seizoen voor het team van ART Grand Prix. De Rus vervangt Sebastien Buemi bij de renstal van Nicolas Todt. Aleshin moet ART Grand Prix helpen aan de derde titel op een rij. Teamgenoot Lucas di Grassi moet namelijk een achterstand van twee punten goed maken op Timo Glock.

World Series by Renault-coureur Aleshin reed eerder al voor ART Grand Prix in Barcelona. Daarna werd hij vervangen door Sebastien Buemi die tot aan dit weekend de plek van Michael Ammermuller definitief overnam. Dit weekend moet de Zwitser echter aan de bak in de Formule 3 Euroseries waarin hij nog kans maakt op het kampioenschap.

Buemi: Die titel is erg belangrijk voor mij. Misschien was het beter geweest als ik me het hele seizoen op de Formule 3 gericht had, maar ik denk dat mijn ervaring in de GP2 me zal helpen in de toekomst.
