Trident Racing contracteert Roman de Beer voor 2014

Roman de Beer verdedigt dit jaar de kleuren van Trident Racing in de GP3. De 19-jarige Zuid-Afrikaan testte eind vorig jaar al voor de Italiaanse renstal en dat beviel van weerskanten. In 2009 was hij de winnaar van de Formula Junior Rok.

De Beer: "We werken hard toe naar 2014 en hopen op de best mogelijke resultaten. In een competitieve serie als de GP3 is het lastig om aan je doelstellingen te voldoen, maar met doorzettingsvermogen en toewijding is alles mogelijk. Dit is een van de beste klasses voor jonge rijders en ik ben gezegend met deze kans om in deze prestigieuze serie te racen. Ik ben heel erg opgewonden en klaar om alles te geven!"
