Alex Fontana vervolgt loopbaan bij ART Grand Prix

ART Grand Prix heeft Alex Fontana vastgelegd voor komend GP3-seizoen. De 21-jarige Zwitser met voorouders uit Griekenland scoorde vorig jaar in dienst van Jenzer Motorsport 18 punten in de GP3. In 2011 veroverde hij de titel in het Europees Formule 3 Open-kampioenschap.

Fontana: "Ik ben extreem blij om me aan te sluiten bij een team dat het kampioenschap heeft gedomineerd en ik geloof dat er geen beter team is om me verder te ontwikkelen. Onze samenwerking is in elk geval positief begonnen bij de test na het vorig seizoen."

"Ik train hard om me fysiek en mentaal optimaal voor te bereiden op deze mogelijkheid bij ART Grand Prix. Ik wil het team en de opleiding van Lotus bedanken voor deze kans. Mijn doel is om vooraan mee te doen en een constant seizoen te draaien."
