Hilmer Motorsport contracteert Ivan Tavarov

Ivan Tavarov is de eerste coureur die door Hilmer Motorsport is vastgelegd voor de GP3. De Duitse renstal nam vorige maand het startbewijs van Russian Time over en rijdt onder de vlag van Force India in de opstapklasses. Met Tavarov is Rusland toch nog vertegenwoordigd bij dit team.

De 19-jarige Rus was vorig jaar goed voor drie overwinningen in het Britse Formule Renault 2.0-kampioenschap. Tavarov: "Ik wil Hilmer bedanken voor het feit dat ze in me geloven en voor de kans die ze me geven. De GP3 is voor zowel het team als mij nieuw, maar we gaan extra hard weken voor goede resultaten. Ik weet zeker dat we dan in staat zijn om veel punten te scoren. Ik ben heel blij om voor Hilmer, een winnende renstal in de GP2, uit te komen en ik ben zeer gemotiveerd."
