Nikolay Martsenko vindt onderdak bij Hilmer

Nikolay Martsenko vervolgt zijn loopbaan bij Hilmer Motorsport in de GP3. De Rus vervangt landgenoot Ivan Tavarov bij de Duitse renstal. Martsenko ving het jaar aan in de World Series by Renault, maar bleek niet over de middelen te beschikken om het seizoen bij Comtec af te maken.

"Ik wil Hilmer bedanken voor deze kans in de GP3", begint de 21-jarige coureur. "Voor mij is het belangrijk om te bewijzen dat ze de juiste beslissing hebben genomen. Oostenrijk zal mijn eerste kennismaking met de GP3 zijn, maar ik ga mijn best doen om een goed resultaat te behalen."
