Melker en Van der Zande in top zeven bij test op Paul Ricard

Nigel Melker en Renger van der Zande hebben het tijdens de eerste GP3-testdag van deze week op het circuit van Paul Ricard goed gedaan. Melker noteerde de derde tijd, zijn RSC Mucke Motorsport-teamgenoot Van der Zande legde beslag op de zevende positie.

ART Grand Prix eiste de eerste twee plekken voor zich op. Esteban Gutierrez bleef Alexander Rossi voor. Beide heren testten eind vorig jaar op Jerez voor het Formule 1-team van BMW Sauber. Robert Wickens verzekerde zich gisteren van een stoeltje bij Status GP en snelde meteen naar de vierde tijd.

Vandaag wordt verder getest op het Franse circuit van Paul Ricard, waar vlak voor de middagpauze via een shoot-out de startnummers van de auto's zullen worden bepaald.
