Arden strikt Formule Renault 2.0-kampioen

Formule Renault 2.0 Eurocup-kampioen Jack Aitken vervolgt zijn loopbaan in de GP3 bij Arden. De 20-jarige Brit veroverde vorig jaar ook de titel in de Formule Renault 2.0 ALPS. Na het seizoen testte hij voor Arden in de Formule 3.5 V8 en vervolgens de GP3.

De keuze is gevallen op de GP3. Aitken: "Na eerder met elkaar samengewerkt te hebben in 2013 en gezien de goede band die ik met iedereen binnen het team heb opgebouwd, doet het met deugd om komend seizoen voor Ardne in de GP3 uit te racen. Na een kampioenschap-winnende campagne in een competitieve serie in 2015 ben ik niet van plan om nu op mijn lauweren te rusten. Ik ben vastberaden om ook op een hoger niveau in de GP3 de strijd aan te gaan."
