Campos Racing contracteert Julien Falchero

Het team van Campos Racing heeft de eerste naam van de line-up voor het GP3-seizoen 2017 bekendgemaakt. Julien Falchero voegt zich bij de Spaanse renstal. Deze 19-jarige Fransman was de afgelopen twee jaar actief in de Formule Renault 2.0, zonder al te veel aansprekende resultaten.

Falchero: "Een nieuwe uitdaging in de GP3 met Campos Racing betekent een buitengewone mogelijkheid voor mij. De tests in Abu Dhabi en de integratie bij het team zijn soepel verlopen. Ik ga me fysiek gezien zo goed mogelijk voorbereiden op het komende seizoen en ik beschik met oud Formule 1-rijder Jean-Pierre Jarier over een geweldige coach. Hij ontfermt zich over me en het doel voor dit jaar is om hoge klasseringen in de wacht te slepen."
