Correa maakt zijn debuut op Spa-Francorchamps

Juan Manuel Correa debuteert komend weekend in België in de GP3. De Amerikaan stapt in voor het team van Jenzer Motorsports. Het doel is om ervaring op te doen aangezien hij de GP3 voor 2018 als mogelijkheid ziet om zijn loopbaan in te vervolgen.

Correa: "Ik ben opgewonden en blij dat mijn eerste GP3-optreden voor de deur staat. De GP3 is een klasse waar ik al sinds mijn eerste Formule 4-race naar kijk als optie voor de toekomst. Nu, met ervaring in eenzitters en met de circuits in Europa, was het juiste moment voor deze stap."

"De sprong naar de GP3 voor de tweede seizoenshelft is iets om op voort te borduren richting 2018. Mijn plannen en doelen voor volgend jaar liggen nog niet vast, het is nog even afwachten welke mogelijkheden zich aandienen. Ik ben Jenzer en mijn partners in elk geval dankbaar voor deze geweldige mogelijkheid in de GP3."
