Boccolacci wint laatste GP3-race van het seizoen, Schothorst ziet podiumkans vervliegen

Dorian Boccolacci heeft de laatste GP3-race van het jaar gewonnen. Steijn Schothorst deed lang mee in de strijd om het podium, maar moest uiteindelijk genoegen nemen met de zeventiende plaats.nadat hij in de laatste ronde zijn teamgenoot Niko Kari raakte..

Bij de start is polesitter Ryan Tveter als beste weg, gevolgd door Boccolacci en Schothorst. Schothorst schiet in de eerste bocht even naast de baan, maar weet de derde plek vast te houden terwijl George Russell meer vliegend dan rijdend door de eerste sector gaat. In de derde ronde pakt Boccolacci brutaal de leiding over van Tveter, die enigzins verrast is door de actie van de Fransman.

Schothorst ligt nog steeds derde en kan het tempo van de koplopers volgen, maar moet ook op zijn achtervolgers letten. Schothorst komt onder druk te staan van Lorandi en Daniel Ticktum. Aanvankelijk lukt het de Nederlander zijn plek te verdedigen met de hulp van DRS, maar in de achtste ronde valt de Nederlander terug naar de vijfde plaats. Lorandi rijdt bij het inhalen van Schothorst zijn voorvleugel kapot en speelt in het vervolg van de race geen rol meer.

Een paar rondjes later begint de teamgenoot van Schothorst, Niko Kari, aan te dringen. Het lukt de winnaar van de race van gisteren echter niet om zijn Nederlandse teamgenoot te verschalken. In de laatste ronde raken Kari en Schothorst elkaar, waarbij Kari spint en Schothorst wegvalt uit de top. De Nederlander moet de strijd staken en wordt uiteindelijk nog als achttiende geclassificeerd.

Vooraan pakken Trident-coureurs Boccolacci en Tveter de eerste twee plaatsen en halen op die manier de tweede plaats in het kampioenschap voor Trident binnen. In het kampioenschap verandert er niet veel meer aangezien George Russell al kampioen was. Jack Aitken en Nirei Fukuzumi zijn de runner-ups achter Russell.

Godverdomme F1 today weer!!!! Wat is het nu is hij 4e geworden of uitgevallen of 17??? Hou hier is mee op ontsla de redacteur die er constant er een zooitje van maakt...

  Vind jij het wel normaal dat er hier de laatste tijd artikelen geplaatst worden die zo slordig zijn. Op een professionele site vind ik dit echt onacceptabel. Als ik op mijn werk fouten staan en treinen komen stil te staan of automatische magazijnen werken niet meer of röntgen apparatuur maakt brandwonden dan ben ik ook aan de beurt. Een redacteur hier moet ook gewoon professioneel zijn werk doen. Ze zouden hier gewoon de naam van de redacteur er onder moeten zetten. Is zien of deze ene rotte appel er nog zon zooitje van maakt of dat hij opeens wel zijn artikelen fatsoenlijk naleest....
  
  Begrijp mij niet verkeerd 1x per maand zon artikel kan nog gebeuren maar meerdere keren per dag....

  Nee @Vettigeherder, het komt helemaal niet goed. Het wordt helaas alleen maar erger. En daarom is het goed dat Remdy er wat van zegt. Zo kan het niet langer!

  @VETTIGEHERDER Ja dat kan heel goed maar als hij naast die baan niet de tijd heeft om fatsoenlijk zijn "vrijwilligers" werkt te doen dan moet hij er mee stoppen. Ook van een vrijwilliger kun je enige professionaliteit verwachten. Ik zou ook niet willen dat een vrijwillige brandweer niet weet hoe hij mij uit een auto moet knippen of een brand moet blussen.

Merkwaardig: de fout in dit artikel is wel aangepast, maar de blunder die Remedy81 en ik (en nog een paar anderen) in een ander artikel, eerder op de dag, opmerkte, staat er nog steeds.

Ik sluit me dan ook volledig aan bij Remedy: de betreffende redakteur verdient ontslag.

  Maar nog fout aangepast ook !!! Hij is niet 17e geworden! Ten eerste is hij niet gefinished staat hij als 18e geklacificeerd op 1 ronde achterstand!!!

  Dit bewijst eens te meer dat de betreffende redakteur totaal niet weet waar hij over schrijft en maar wat doet. Die man (of vrouw) moet weg. Bel jij maandag de redaktie?
