Nederlanders in de achterhoede bij GP3-test

Het Yas Marina Circuit was de voorbije dagen het domein voor de Formule 1, maar is nu overgenomen door de GP3 en de Formule 2. De opstapklasses testen drie dagen in Abu Dhabi. En daarbij komen meerdere Nederlanders in actie.

In de GP3 moeten Job van Uitert en Leonard Hoogenboom de Nederlandse eer hoog houden. Op de eerste dag lukte dat nog niet heel erg. Van Uitert reed met een 1:56.330 de zestiende tijd in een veld van twintig deelnemers en Hoogenboom hield met een 1:56.695 alleen Simo Laaksonen achter zich.

Er was toch nog klein Nederlands succesje; het Nederlandse team MP Motorsport eindigde met Niki Kari bovenaan het tijdenlijstje. De Fin die afgelopen weekend ook al een van de races in Abu Dhabi op zijn naam wist te schrijven dook met een 1:54.960 als enige onder de 1:55.

Jongens dit zegt helemaal niks zo test,waarschijnlijk reden ze met 400 liter brandstof in de wagen.
