Richie Stanaway maakt seizoen af voor ART Grand Prix

Richie Stanaway debuteert komend weekend in de GP3. Bij ART Grand Prix vervangt hij Pedro Nunes, die nog geen punt scoorde dit seizoen, zo bericht Autosport. Stanaway was tot nu toe dit jaar actief in het Duitse Formule 3-kampioenschap.

De 19-jarige Nieuw-Zeelander voert daarin de tussenstand aan, hij won al negen keer in zijn eerste jaargang in die klasse. Vorig jaar won hij al de titel in de ADAC Formel Masters. Op Twitter schreef Stanaway: Ik heb net te horen gekregen dat ik het GP3-seizoen af maak met ART Grand Prix en dat ik race op Spa-Francorchamps en Monza.
