Marlon Stockinger verdedigt komend GP3-seizoen de eer van Status GP. De 20-jarige coureur reed vorig jaar in dezelfde serie voor Atech CRS, maar scoorde geen enkel punt. Bij een test eind vorig jaar overtuigde hij de teamleiding van Status echter van zijn kunnen.

Teambaas Teddy Yip: "Marlon imponeerde tijdens de test en we verwachten dat hij komend jaar hoge ogen gooit. Ervaring telt ook in de GP3, en in zijn tweede jaar zal Marlon constant presteren en weten hoe hij alles uit de auto kan halen."

Stockinger: "De wintertests verliepen zeer goed, we bivakkeerden steevast in de top vijf, wat cruciaal is in een competitieve klasse als de GP3. Ik twijfel er niet aan dat het team en ik een succesvolle campagne op poten zetten, en onze blik is op het front van het veld gericht."
