Status GP versterkt gelederen met Kotaro Sakurai

Kotaro Sakurai verdedigt dit seizoen de eer van Status GP in de GP3. De pas 17-jarige Japanner was vorig jaar de beste in de Nationale Klasse in het Brits Formule 3-kampioenschap en is al anderhalf jaar betrokken bij Status GP. Hij vergezelt Marlon Stockinger als teamgenoot.

Sakurai: "Ik ben verguld om dit jaar met Status GP in de GP3 Series te racen. Ik heb veel geleerd in de Britse Formule 3 en na een uitgebreid testprogramma in de winter ken ik de GP3-auto goed. Ik ben klaar voor deze stap in mijn carrière en kijk ernaar uit om te leren van het team en sterke resultaten neer te zetten."
