Fabio Gamberini vervangt John Wartique bij Atech CRS

John Wartique heeft het veld moeten ruimen bij Atech CRS, in elk geval voor de races op het circuit van Silverstone. De Belg heeft zijn budget niet rond en loopt achter met betalingen. Zijn stoeltje wordt komend weekend ingenomen door Fabio Gamberini, een jonge Braziliaan.

Hij debuteert in Engeland in de GP3. Gamberini: "Ik ben verguld om voor het eerst mijn opwachting in de GP3 te maken. Na acht maanden zonder racestoeltje zal ik even roestig zijn, maar ik hoop meteen competitief voor de dag te komen en wat puntjes te scoren. Silverstone is een geweldig circuit, de beste Britse baan en een van de mooiste circuits in de wereld. Atech is een goed team, ze geven me veel aandacht en genieten respect in de paddock."
