Trident Racing legt Emanuele Zonzini vast voor 2013

Emanuele Zonzini debuteert dit jaar in de GP3. De 18-jarige coureur uit San Marino heeft in de tests tijdens het naseizoen van 2012 voldoende indruk gemaakt op de teamleiding van Trident Racing en een stoeltje bemachtigd. Zonzini was vorig jaar actief in het Formule Abarth-kampioenschap.

"2013 wordt het belangrijkste jaar in mijn loopbaan tot nu toe", begint hij. "Ik ga de strijd aan in de GP3 Series en neem het op tegen getalenteerde rijders met ervaring. Ik moet zo snel mogelijk gewend raken aan de nieuwe omgeving, aan de auto en aan de circuits. Ik hoop op een geweldig seizoen bij Trident Racing, zowel qua professionele groei als mooie resultaten."
