David Fumanelli tekent bij Trident Racing voor 2013

David Fumanelli heeft zich voor het komende GP3-seizoen verbonden aan het team van Trident Racing. De 20-jarige Italiaan reed vorig jaar al in de opstapklasse, voor MW Arden, met een derde plek als beste resultaat. Trident Racing contracteerde eerder al Emanuele Zonzini.

Fumanelli: "Het was geen makkelijke winter, aangezien ik moeite had om een programma voor 2013 samen te stellen. Het keerpunt was het bezoek aan het hoofdkwartier van Trident. Ik was onder de indruk door de faciliteiten en het gemotiveerde personeel. Daarnaast investeren ze veel in de ontwikkeling van de nieuwe bolide. Ik ben al begonnen met werk in de simulator en ik ben ervan overtuigd dat we een mooi jaar tegemoet gaan."
