Status GP slaat handen ineen met Jimmy Eriksson

Jimmy Eriksson verdedigt komend GP3-seizoen de eer van Status Grand Prix. De 21-jarige Zweed heeft een succesvol 2012 achter de rug. Namens Lotus won hij acht races in de Duitse Formule 3 Cup, resulterend in de titel.

Eriksson: "Ik ben opgewonden over deze nieuwe uitdaging en om deel te nemen aan een serie die hoort bij een Grand Prix-weekend. Ik heb vorig jaar sterk gepresteerd in de Formule 3 en hoop dat momentum voort te zetten bij Status GP. Dit is een team met een goede reputatie en ze hebben aangetoond dat ze serieuze plannen met me hebben. Met de introductie van een nieuwe auto was dit het juiste moment om in de GP3 te stappen. Ik ben zeer gemotiveerd om aan de slag te gaan."
