Carlin legt Luis Sa Silva vast voor komend seizoen

Het team van Carlin heeft een tweede rijder voor de GP3 in 2013 bekend gemaakt. De 22-jarige Angolees Luis Sa Silva voegt zich bij Eric Lichtenstein. Sa Silva was vorig jaar actief in de Formule 3 Euroseries, met veertien punten als totale oogst.

"De GP3 is met de komst van de nieuwe generatie auto's nog meer een opstapje richting het hoogste niveau. Met 400 pk is deze wagen veel krachtiger dan wat ik gewend was en er is veel te leren. Ik ben opgewonden om het op te nemen tegen enkele van de beste coureurs van Europa en Angola te vertegenwoordigen. Ik weet dat ik bij Carlin een goed pakket krijg om dat te doen", aldus Sa Silva.
