La Rocca de dupe van machtsvacuüm in Venezuela

Roberto La Rocca heeft zich terug moeten trekken bij Bamboo Engineering. De Venezolaan is de dupe van de onzekerheid over de situatie in zijn thuisland, waar na het overlijden van president Hugo Chavez een machtsvacuüm is ontstaan. La Rocca kan niets beloven qua sponsoring.

Hij is bij Bamboo Engineering vervangen door Carmen Jorda. "Ik ben heel blij met dit akkoord met Bamboo Engineering. Ik heb een positieve winter met goede optredens in de tests achter de rug en kijk uit naar een mooi jaar. Dat het team bovenaan eindigde bij de test op Estoril vergemakkelijkte mijn beslissing", aldus de Spaanse.
